A note about Advanced Prolozone Course:
The Advanced Prolozone Course is designed to take all of those practitioners who have been successfully treating painful joints with ozone injections to the next level. Advanced Prolozone builds on your Beginning Prolozone (aka Phase I) training, and the experience you have gained over the past several months while using Prolozone Ozone Injection Techniques in your office. You will learn how to treat necks, backs, dental applications, sinus therapy and pelvic disorders.
You must have these prerequisites to register for the Advanced Prolozone Ozone Injection Course:
1. You have attended a previous Beginning Prolozone Course" (6 months or prior) and have used Prolozone in your clinic in the interim. This is to hone your Ozone Injection (Prolozone) skills and make sure you are prepared for Advanced Prolozone Training.
OR
2. If you already have three years or more extensive neck and back injection experience, Dr. Shallenberger will allow you to attend the Beginning Prolozone and the Advanced Prolozone Course back-to-back during the same event. If you feel you qualify or if you are traveling abroad to attend these courses, please send a detailed list of your experience via email to Jolene Shallenberger at ozonetherapies@gmail.com. Please do not make flight arrangements before gaining approval.
It is clear that injecting at these sites requires extensive injection training and experience. This is why it is recommended that practitioners take a break between the Beginning Prolozone Course and this Advanced Prolozone Course. The rationale is for you to return to your clinic after the Beginning Prolozone Course to use your new knowledge, and to hone your injection skills. When you return for this Advanced Prolozone Injection training, you will have a steady hand and the skill required to proceed to necks, backs etc.
A message from Dr. Shallenberger:
“Many attendees wonder why they cannot attend both the Beginning and the Advanced Prolozone courses at the same time. The reason is that for those of you who have never injected the spine you will just suffer from information overload. I saw this in the past when I did offer all the information in one course. Virtually all the attendees who go to both courses are happy that the courses were split. The Beginning course will establish your ability to confidently inject the human body. Then the Advanced course will cover the spine, which is a bit more complex. And by then you will be ready for it.”
Any of the hundreds of practitioners who have already attended the Beginning Prolozone Course are welcome to register for this course, so this course books up quickly, and seats are limited.
Ozone has been used in dentistry since 1932. So there is a long history of the use of ozone in the practice of dentistry. Welcome to the future!
This course will be exciting because it will allow you to go back to your practice and be able to immediately use ozone in all of it’s myriad ways. This will rock your dental world! You will be amazed at the number of different ways that ozone can be utilized and all of the ways that it helps heal so quickly and painlessly, helps desensitize teeth, helps whiten teeth, reduces recurrent cavities, reduces pocketing and bone infections!
You will learn the history and science of ozone and a number of medical treatments involving ozone. In the present times, it is very important that dentists and medical providers collaborate on the care of patients. As a dentist, you will be able to utilize ozone via other entries into the body besides the oral cavity.
You will have a concrete knowledge of other ozone treatments that are available and useful to your patients.
You and/or your team will attend Dr. Shallenberger’s lecture on the history and science of ozone and how it interacts within the body as part of this course. You would then learn how to apply ozone in it’s many forms, within the scope of dentistry.
Ozone kills all pathogens . The oral microbiome contains many species of bacteria and to lesser degrees, viruses and fungi. Ozone will kill or deactivate all of these no matter which species. Now, we can help our patients regrow a healthier oral biofilm With the use of ozonated oils and ozonated water, patients can apply ozone therapy at home and increase the health of their mouth.
Clinically, we can use ozone in almost every facet of dentistry that we practice. Ozone is a tool that fits into every style of practice seamlessly. Patients will experience less pain during and after procedures, faster healing times, less sensitivity and general sense of oral well-being.
We can use ozone to reduce bacterial loads in the mouth, in the sulci and in infected tissue areas. We can use ozone to help heal surgical sites faster and with less morbidity.
Two areas that ozone may be superior than present methods are waterline management and sterilization of instruments. Our present methods of sterilization do an adequate job although they don’t necessarily address some microorganisms. It takes 168 cycles through the autoclave to remove a prion from a stainless steel instrument. Ozone can do that immediately.
Ozone can be incorporated into every procedure that we do in dentistry. We are not changing the way that we practice. We are adding a new tool that will actually help reduce the pathogen load in the mouth and will help heal tissues 3-4 times faster than we are used to them healing. It will desensitize teeth forever. It will help whiten teeth. It will clean the water lines.
Ways that ozone will enhance your practice...
Restorative
will help reduce incidence of cavities.
will help reduce need for root canals if there is a pulp exposure
will desensitize a tooth that will not get numb from anesthesia.
Endodontics
will diffuse 2-4mm into the tubules to reduce bacteria
Can be pushed periapically to fight PA lesions without accident.
Will disinfect tooth 350x stronger than hypochloride
Periodontics
will help shrink pocketing
will help heal periodontal infections
will help heal perio surgeries 3 times faster than normal.
will reduce post op pain
Orthodontics
will reduce white spot lesions
will reduce hypertrophic tissues around brackets
Oral Surgeries/Implantology
will help heal/integrate faster
will reduce post-op pain/ lessen chance of dry socket
Pediatrics
can be used to control caries without discomfort or pain
application is silent, so child is not affected by noise
gentler way to treat kids
Water lines/Sterilization
will reduce water line biofilm to almost zero
Ozone can also remove prions from stainless steel instruments!
